My ISS SCHARNHORST-Model is nearly colored this way - and in my Fan-Fiction the ISS DAEDALUS is commissioned just six years earlier... So I give this model colors that matches with the NX-Class and also with my SCHARNHORST... Here are the final Orthographics... Pics of the final model, I´ve posted here: --> ISS DAEDALUS / NCC-129 |
Re: ulimann644´s Fleetyard
Really nice...
The first day of my vacation, so I can sleep a little longer, and... I waked up at 03:20 a.m. and can´t sleep anymore... :nuts: So - this is the result of a sleepless night... (10-11 hours or so...) The basic-form of the planned MARYLAND-CLASS. Later it should have two Narcelles at short Pylons at the sides and a weapons-pod, like the SOYUS-CLASS, behind the Bridge... (but a little smaller, as the SOYUZ-Variant... ;) :D) |
Re: ulimann644´s Fleetyard
I usually don't even go to bed by 3:20 AM. :tongue: Though, yesterday, I woke up at 9 AM after going to bed around 5 AM, so that was probably about the same difference. ;)
Nice work so far on the ship. I've always liked the Soyuz-class, so something based on it sounds cool. |

@EG180
I know what it means... In my time in Vienna I worked four years long from 14:00-22:00 (official, but sometimes from 12:00-01:00 - also Saturdays...) :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: BTT: My Ugly Flying Pancake is nearly ready (Now you really know, what UFP means... ) :D |
Re: ulimann644´s Fleetyard
It's a good looking ship, but the underside is a little plain.

Re: ulimann644´s Fleetyard
@EG180
True. That´s the reason why it´s still WIP... I plan to give it - aside from some plates - two Pulsphasers and the contours of the retractable undercarriage. (And than I can use it for some FF-Covers... :)) |
Re: ulimann644´s Fleetyard
Sorry, I misunderstood. Whey you said "it's ready," I thought you meant it was done. :blush:

I mean the visible underside of the "landing gear"... But I´ve decided yesterday that this "landing-gear" is not visible in flight, like that at the VOYAGER. I´ve added some more details and the two Pulsphaser-Cannons - and I think it´s enough now - I want to render it later for some covers and for my FF-WIKI more from the upper side... ;) I know that this model is not very detailed and also really not made professional but I´ve just made it, that people can imagine, how the MARYLAND-CLASS basically looks like. And I guess it´s not sooo bad for a FanFiction-Writer... ;) :D |
Re: ulimann644´s Fleetyard
It looks good. If you put it in some scenes with some real lighting, I'll bet it will look even better. :)

Re: ulimann644´s Fleetyard
Here is a new little project - the ANDROMEDA/ANTARES-CLASS
I plan to make two different versions of it - one more TOS-like an d one, that matches with the DAEDALUS- and SCHARNHORST-Model of my BREAKABLE-Universe, a little more ENT-like... The ship should basically look like this - but there will be a few modifications in my MU-Pre-TOS-Version: I´ve startet yesterday with the MU-variant - in MAX2009... Here is a first shot of the mesh: |
Re: ulimann644´s Fleetyard
I do rmember of that old ship. :)
Your version is looking good. Those retangles (with rounded corners) at her side will be weapons? |
Re: ulimann644´s Fleetyard
Nice start. That's a great design, I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with it.

In the front-view you can see that these round corners are domes - and I think it´s a special scanner-system. Quote:

Some new Details are added, and I´ve made some modifications...
I´ve also created some Materials now. The next step ist to create the impuls-drives... |
Re: ulimann644´s Fleetyard
I´ve added the Impulse-Drives and carved a few details into the Hull... ;) :)
