Project Dogwaffle version 1.2 (this freeware version)
is based on the powerful achitecture of Project Dogwaffle 2.0. It's a light, yet powerful tool for artistic expression. We felt that the aging prior free version (v1.11b) was in need of an update, since it was written for earlier operating systems and we wanted our new users to have the speed and power of our newer software architecture.

***************************************************************

Dogwaffle 1.2 is not just a stripped-down save-disabled time-expiring trial demo of our full software - it's a fully functional version with some new features too. It is not save-disabled, there's no time-limit, no need to register, and there's no spyware or adware coming with it.

I never did get that program to work but that was on my old PC. Maybe I'll have to try again since you posted the link. :)

Here is one I just came across:
Spiral Graphics Use the link it is not a .com address :)

This is a cool software texture maker with many uses if you let your imagination go wild. While it is $149 USD for basic and $899 USD for Studio you can download the viewer for free. It will render out tileable images from its preset catalog. All the presets can be tweaked. It even makes some cool planets but the light source is fixed in the free version.

Trust me, there's a lot of decidedly not useful free software out there.

Welcome to the forum. :)

Try to use RonyaSoft. It's very powerful and easy-to use. I like this poster printer

Hello,

I use Hiview from the university of Arizona.
Hiview is a data explorer and image viewing application impporting
JP2000 image format. I use it for Mars Planetology.

But, you need full of computer's capacity to do this, (ie: 32g/memory ddr3 at 2000htz); The image zooming from NASA is about 150 000 pixels.

Also you find it the incredible Image from geological map of Mars.
