Caudex's Renegade
This ship looked pretty simple, so I though I would give it a shot. The drawing is in the 2D artwork section of the premier site.

Cool. I worked last night on the Monitor and have a lot of it done but no updates to show (left the zip at home).
The Durango is done but needs textures (that texture group really needs to get off their butts ).
Watching for more.

Yeah, might actually get this one done in less than a month
Seriously, it is pretty close. Lots of windows, though, plus texturing (BAH!).

You would be surprised at the number of models no one has seen because of waiting for texturing! (Well, some of 'em suck and that's why you never saw them )

Bad texturing can be hidden by nebulae and lens flares. Don't be shy!

Perhaps we can just hide all of our meshes in a nebula. "They are awesome models, really. It's just that this strategically placed nebula is blocking your view..."

Update. Added the registry, name, better textures, windows, and, well, that's about it.

Of course now that I was almost done, a faulty shader caused my latest file to be destroyed. As a result, I have to do all the lettering and numbering all over again. Oh well.

I do backup. I have 10 renegade files already. It's just that the ninth file was for words and numbers. I had saved it, but my file corrupted for some unknown reason.
Here's an update. I am probably done, although there are a few things that need to be worked on (lights).

Yes, you did a very nice job. But I still think that's a pretty funny looking ship!

Hey, I don't design 'em. I just model 'em. Besides, it was pretty easy to do.
Stupid me...I forget to add the big red pennany on top of the secondary. Will get to that later today.
