Default Kudos to whomever did the Gunstar in the top banner

Seriously, it is impossible to find a good Gunstar pic, and even though I can't find a bigger pic in the gallery, I can tell from the small one, whoever did that put a ton of work into it and made a super render Wich I could see a better view of it, but I can't seem to find pics anywhere Last Starfighter is one of my fav movies of all time

The Gunstar was built by Fabio Passaro .. who now works professionally at CGI
but here are 2 images I found

Cool!
Totally amazing, what's awesome (And a little scary actually) is that people with home computers are now making better models of the Gunstar than the original animators did with their 'supercomputers' and all that. At one point just a few years ago, it took 6 months, a whole team of animators, and a huge computer, to render a dancing lamp with shadows, and now your average video card and gaming system can do it live and barely notice. Technology can be a bit scary...

I can see why Mr Passaro got work in professional CGI, his work is really good
