I have to say that's an outstanding job. I've loved that model in the film. I like any ship design that actually looks like something we'd build one day. The same reason I like so many of the Space: 1999 designs.

Plus the fact that the original Battlestar Galactica "borrowed" the footage from Silent Running... well for me it's more reason to like it.

Love to see it animated.

maybe ... Someday... When I get the closeup models for the breakaway sequences done.... I could always re-do some of the opening sequences
