Lovely bridgework Sean! And kudos to S-Stephen for the conversion to Max (don't suppose you've got any of his other sets?)

I look forward to playing with it!

Again, is it difficult to save the Max 3 mesh as a Max 2+ mesh and post it?

Has to go the 3ds route, and with texture names getting cut off at the 8 character, re-texturing in is order too.

Fine by me; I can't even get that far with 3D Exploration.

Does discreet learn nothing from its competitors? What I find most amusing is that trueSpace 5 has an option to save in TS4's scene format, making it completely backwards compatible. Why could discrete not be bothered to provide so simple and obvious an option? Especially for a program three times the price of TS5...

BTW, when I click the smilies button (which points to http://www.3dgladiators.net/forums/u...gend&Type=edit , I get a 404 error. Might be nice to get that working again at some point.

Hey Sean, any chance you'll be releasing your TOS bridge mesh anytime soon?

(I'm the "friend" that Cadein was referring to a few months back about using your fine tos bridge mesh in my TOS Fanfilm.)

my email address: borjis.fett@gte.net

Thanks for your time,

Borjis Fett

LOL, the clue is in the question.

By keeping the files non backwards compatible, it 'encourages' uptake of the new version.

Thanks for the model. It opened just fine in Bryce.
