I can't unzip, it says something about incorrect filesizes.
But still, cool of you to release it. :)

I'm in the process of dragging it kicking and screaming into LW. Any chances of getting the COB mesh? Those tend to convert easier, fewer mesh errors.
But incredibly cool nonetheless.. thanks!

Much smoother conversion from the COB, thanks Bob!! No idea when I'll get around to texturing it, but it's a damn fine mesh to start with.

Excellent job! Nice to release it - I think you are going to see it all over the place.

Well I downloaded both versions.
I see you still haven't changed your modelling methods, as seen in the HUGH object count. :(
Several things puzzel me though. Especially the 'plane' objects that exist on the pylons. Why didn't you just bevel or sweep them? The same question goes for most of the other 'raised' panels. I looked at the cob version and now understand 'why' you had the reddish cast on most of the model. The lights go inside the B.S. and the B.S. object is adjusted so no shadows are recieved/cast.
Overall a good example of a very rushed model.
Model rating: 4.5 for quality/8 for speed

Dr. Bob, (BTW, I love your work!)
I think I have seen pics for another NX-01 out on the web. It looked so much like yours that I wondered if you were posting the pics on more than one website, or if you published the mesh yet?
I'll post the link as soon as I can.

Can't import it! Max 4 says something about improper format.

It is strange how the first enterprise looks like something from the Voyager and DS9 series
Meaning the Akira class.

Is anyone doing a LW conversion of this one? I tried to convert using 3D Exploration and then Cinema 4D, and the only thing that got converted was the top of the saucer section. Same thing happened when I imported into LW modeller.

I made a LW 6.5 conversion of P. Trenklers NX-01 v0.5 (orginal mesh 3D studio max).
