i'm using the warp nine tutorial found over at scifi-meshes.com to add streaking stars to an animation, the problem is when i add a light to light up my object that we are warping the camera to, the stars disappear and won't show up when rendering. How can i fix this? probably something stupid that i don't know

:) Ok.

For the future, so we don't have to ask what program you use, you can go to your profile and selct the programs you use. Then they'll appear under your name, like mine.

Look forward to seeing the results of your work.

Aspera...you really need to read the titles of the forums you are posting in. You'll get much more help that way. Moving to the Q & A section.

Richard.

ok, well in case you haven't discovered the solution to your problem, here's a trick that will do just fine :

In material editor create a totally white material with self illumination on 100 and apply it to the streaking stars, that will make them vissible in dark .
