I had the plastic model once. Seem to remember in the instructions that it was a modified Bell 22B Twin, or something like that.

actually a bell 222b :D

btw I heard the only flying mockup crashed in germany. It was being used by a hospital.

There still are a few life sized mockups around though.

I saw an episode I hadn't seen before the other day and I thought of this thread, especially thomas7g's last post.

The ep showed another 'Airwolf' class helo and it was just funny to watch the two dogfighting.

Anyway, after seeing it, I did a little research to confirm my suspicions, and they actually made two flying mockups, one with weapons showing, one without (the dogfight scene was funny cause the second helo was firing from nowhere....made me laugh)

As for the crash, I dunno, didn't come up.

Anyone know what episode title is the one where they take airwolf almost into space? It hangs there waitless for a few before tumbling down. Also is it in the first or second or maybe the third season.

I think the episode is called 'Ghost in the machine'

It's a throwback to the original pilot episode, the guy who designed Airwolf (The guy who stole it in the original) has left some kind of virus timebomb in the helo.

it's in the 1st or 2nd season, can't remember which though (cause its Stringfellow Hawk and not St. John)

hmmm.... I'm pretty certain there is only one flying airwolf. The enemy airwolf class I believe was another bell222b with its a paintjob and no modifications. At least that's what I hear.

There are several lifesize non flying mockups though. :)

Hi,
I believe the episode was aired during season 1. There was no second Airwolf in that episode.
