View Full Version : Glow behind a object(HELP)

I set up a glow to act as the sun,but when it goes behind and object it, shrinks or "goes off" How could I fix it.

If you are using LightWave, just deactivate the "Fade Behind Objects" feature. However, that might mean that the flare will shine right through the image. Then again, if you have "Glow Behind Object" enabled, then it should work. Otherwise, I don't know of any other way.

are you just using the lensflare in video post? or are u using it via the effects window... I believe if u set up each part of the flare in the effects window you should get the correct effect.

You could render the flare as a seperate element and then composite it in with the background and the foreground and animate the amount of the flare in the comp. Doing it this way would also allow you to add a bit of edge wrap as well by using the sun/flare element as a mask to blur the alpha of the foreground objects.
