It looked like a simple enough mesh to tackle, plus I could use some pre-made parts created for earlier vessels. Here's the progress so far.
And yes, I know both nacelles have green nav lights.

Yeah. The main hull started off as the hull for my try at the Pioneer, which I never completed.

This model is moving along pretty quickly. Might actually have it done this weekend which will be some kind of a record for me. :)

You gonna put those 'struts' on? I thought those we interesting. I got (but have not shared yet :rolleyes:) updated pics for the DY-950 that have some small details that I am going to add.

We have quite the little fleet going on now, don't we?

I have to admit that I think this is kind of a weird-looking ship. The banding and conical deflector are straight off the Daedalus secondary hull, but the spherical engineering hull is off a Bison. I don't think the two parts go together well.

This isn't meant as a knock on your model, skyhawk, just the original design.
