Playing with Final Render whilst working on a project for University (an animation, surprisingly). The Shadow mapping in fR is absolutely amazing. I haven't even tried the ray-tracing yet - no time while I'm working on this project - but it looks like it's going to be spectacular. Then then there'll be the other amazing stuff...

The lighting in thsi thing is fantastic though.

Suffice to say, it's wonderful what a little bit of decent lighting can do to an otherwise fairly old mesh. ;)

Looks great!
..I'm not sure if the background starfield is going to be a part of your final image, but I'd say it's probably the weakest part of the image thus far (looks a tad vacant and pixelated)
