Second thing is something I read on the sci-fi channel Farscape board:
they wanted $400.00 to buy ad time for Farscape, but they only wanted $250.00 for Stargate. That means Farscape beats Stargate by a fair margin in the Baltimore-Washington megalopolis!
I don't know if the source is reliable but if true that is good news.

That's a dirt-cheap add. Typically, local cable providers will sell commercial space and pre-empt the broadcasted commercial. Ever since I got Satellite TV, I haven't had to endure those cheap ads anymore ;).

It may be dirt cheap but it cost more than SG1, which is good news for Farscape.
