Yeah, I think option 2 is better. It suits the Cardassian style of decor...

Seriously, I loved your original galor texture which you seem to have reverted to. Great work. One question though, are you just not lighting the impulse triangle thingies yet? I remember they're orange on my as yet uncompleted scale model.
Oh, and any chance for a little animation to show off your final design? :) Please?

Definitely looks nice ebolii, I like the red insignia myself. what else can I say, your talent has once again manifested itself! Ok, now just to nitpick slightly, but it seems that to me of the metal plate textures aren't parallel/perpendicular to some the surfaces you applied them to, ie around that bridge area. seems like a bit of tweaking on the UVW map modifiers would fix it up
nice work tho :)

well that second bridge area (from the front) on the 45 degree sloped part. It seems that some of the 'plating' texture map is rotated so it doesn't go up/down on the surface, but rather is running diagonally. Sorry man I don't have photoshop available cause I'm on the road right now, so i can't show you. Well, no biggie it still looks great tho.
generating different .mat files for your texturing schemes is a great idea :) is that what you did with the K'tinga?

troubles at the home front...Oh why oh why.............What should the freakin glow settings be in MAX and MAX only?.....................
Other than this to fix some simple nav lights and KaZaaaam Time to fight

Are the glow settings set to something other than the defaults? Other than the color, I mean things like perimeter or edge mask? I've seen this before but don't recall what causes it.
Nice finish work though!
