Animated gif's arent animating

The title says it all. All animated gif's I come across are not animated by my computer. Is there some little stupid thing im overlooking here?

If you're using MSIE, goto
Tools>Internet Options>Advanced>Multimedia

It should be in there somewheres.. I think. I haven't used MSIE in a long time, so I could be wrong, but it's worth a try! :)

there`s an option somewhat like "Animate Animations in IE"
(got everything in german here, you see...)

Thanks for the help guys, but unfortunatly, that was already checked and didnt fix it.
