Okay, this baby is going to have a low and high detail version because it will be used in a gaming project so don't worry about the angularity just yet...

Not bad. However, some of the curves need to be smoothed out. For example, the curve underneath the wing on our left side has some angles to it that should be rounded out a bit. I've always had a problem with nurbs, which is why I don't use it very often.

thanks sky, i assume you are refering to the high detail model right?

and yeah, the nurbed version does need a bit more tweaking, that was a straight nurb conversion to do a comparison to the low detail with smooth facet/garaud shading effect... I should actually add the straight, flat facet, low detail version as well for comparison...
