That's a really effective teaser - it shows you only that there's a new Spiderman film coming out, and that Doctor Octopus is the villain. And it works, because I want to see it right now!

It also starts off with a major thing. Peter stating he doesn't love MJ. PLUS, if you notice in the teaser (seen it quite a few times now), Peter's roommate, who hates Spider-Man due to the fact he killed his father, holds a knife over Spider-Man's body, as Doc Oct has him in his tenticles, so that's also an interesting plot development they're adding into it.
