The title says it all! :D

Me and a couple others from days of old will be popping in and out of here with stuff specifically for 3DG.

Myself, I'll be providing some art, and will be providing some contests *specifically* for 3DG members.

So if you know artists at other sites, let them know about the contests, but the contests will be held here at 3DG.

Here is the first contest:

MerlinQuest Entertainment is Richard Hatch's (Apollo from the original Battlestar Galactica) companies name (used to be ShuShan Productions)

I know you all know what Paramounts animated opening credit logo lookslike, as well as Universal and so on.

This contest is to create something similar for MerlinQuest Entertainment.

More info will be forthcoming after Richard and I get the prize worked out.

Could have this at the front page, make it bold and brassy, get people interested if they're just skimming through the site and see that at the front!

Excellent news! I was wondering when the MerlinQuest concest would begin. :)

I'll add this to the frontpage momentarily.

I'd wait til I get the word from Richard on the prize.

Well, the update is already done, but I just said to watch this thread "as details come in."

When you get the prize info from Richard, I'll add that to the news page too.

Excellent. This should spur some more interest. Is this limited to this website?
Oh, and nice to see you around these parts again.

I think it should be limited to this website (therefore, we get people coming in and, well, acknowledging we exist).

While you're at it, put some of sean's work into some gallery here.
He's doing some heavy **** there.

Not neccessarily that one - I personally think he's done better ones, the mexican lady for example - but some of his stuff.
Had we still had those contests monthly, he'd be winning em all.

The prize has been set:

$200 (US) and an autographed BSG novel by Richard.

One note: All entries will become exclusive to MerlinQuest Entertainment.

The contest, as stated before, will be held here at 3DG, so be sure to let other sites know about it.

Rick, since this is your site, please set up your site Contest rules for this then send them to me.

Darrell

It's great to see the good old site back up. It looks fantastic.

Thanks. :)

I hope to add even more features soon, including a gallery which registered users can upload their images to. That should be done this weekend, time permitting.

It's good to see you back here!

Is this still going? I've been gone for a while, but would like to get back into things, and this looks like a good place to do it. :D

Unfortunately the Competition has ended, though you can drop your images in the finished artwork, or if you're slowly creating something, Work In Progress you can put it.

We're always looking for new people to show their work to us all, and they'll most likely be more competitions in future for you to apply for.

3d gladiators was one of the sites that i loved when i first started using Poser years ago. Was disappointed that it went off line for awhile. Am glad that you guys are back!!!

We're happy to be active again, too. Things were getting kind of quiet for a while - dustbunnies under old forum threads, that sort of thing. :)

But we've had the maid in, done a bit of painting, and things are looking pretty good again. :D

Hey guys, long time no see and all that! Got the "Vote for picture of the month" e-mail and I thought I would pop in to see how you all are! OK, so it's only been a few years(!), but I'm glad to see you are all still going strong :) Keep up the good work :)

I retired from the scene for a long, long time, but I'm vaguely back now. Recently joined a private 3d group and got interested in modelling again. Promised I would only post there, but I could be convinced to show some work here ;) Same old story on that though... Lots started, not much finished!
