Finally, the conversion of SeanR's TOS Bridge to Poser is complete and online.

The mesh has been optimized for Poser, including splitting the necessary vertices so it renders without over-smoothing in P4, although the materials are generally designed for P6+. A turbolift has been added, along with a curved corridor outside the bridge that can be seen when the exit door at the front is opened - both that and the lift door can be opened and closed and have limits applied so they don't slide out of the model .

The model also includes the Automatic Defense Module, seen in the TAS episode "Beyond the Farthest Star."

That's awesome, dude. It makes me wish I had Poser.

Excellent work. Pity there aren't more poser conversions:cry:Still I thank you for all the effort you put in and I can certainly use this

Great work. I hope to find the time to use it soon.

Very nice. Would be nice if someone did a full Poser bridge of the D7 cruiser.

Very nice indeed. Though I wish for a movie era bridge more, this one is a great set too.

Those look really nice, but they are in MAX format. Those would be perfect for me if they were Lightwave or Poser. I think somewhere I may have a Lightwave fan-made bridge that is close to movie-era.

Well, as long as their owner has no objections I can convert them to Poser.
I already have to an extent as I use them in Carrara...and Carrara is only a couple of degrees away from Poser.

I converted them with Deep Exploration 5.5 and scaled them up to the M3, V4 & Poser figures.

They're fantastic sets and will be seen in the Trek animation I am knee deep in putting together.

That would be awesome. I currently have nothing that supports MAX format directly (the mesh converters I do have are from when MAX was still a very exclusive file format). I've been on the sidelines too long :( hehe, still working primarily with Lightwave 5.6 and Poser 4 Pro...though I do have Lightwave 7.5, I did not like all of the changes to the interface and file access features.

Well, I do a lot of conversions because while I do use LWO and Max, my app of choice is Carrara. I don't think like an animator but more like a film director and Carrara works with my mental work flow. So - since there aren't any killer Trek meshes native to it I have to convert them all.

It'll take me a few days to get it all in order because I an knee deep in doing rotoscoping for a fan film. I want to get my shots for them done a.s.a.p then I'll be able to do the bridges. In the mean time I'll make sure it's ok with their author.
