I'm just honoring Drexler's request for reposts.

As for what I thought they used, I would have thought they'd migrated to one of the other industry standards, like many of the SFX houses have...

Lightwave *is* the FX standard program. Foundation Imaging used LW on Babylon 5 and Star Trek, as did EdenFX, and when Zoic was formed after FI went bye-bye, they used LW on the nuBG, of which Blood and Chrome is ;)

The other commonly used program is Maya.

Okay, okay. I was under the impression that most of the FX houses had migrated to other platforms.
