A creative writing forum. I hope to see a lot of submissions from you guys. But before we get started, let me set a few ground rules:

1. No Plagiarism. It's right there in the forum description. If you rip off someone else's work, and we find out, be ready for the consequences.

2. No offensive subject matter. Now, before anyone starts to chant "Nazis!", I'm talking about stuff that's WAY over the line - anti-semitism, religious intolerance, things of that nature. This is a fiction forum, not a political / religious literature center.

3. Keep it short! If you want to share your novel with us, fine. But don't post the whole thing and make us wait a week for the page to load. http://www.3dgladiators.net/forums/ubb/ubbhtml/smile.gif Post an excerpt, or a summary, with a link to the whole thing. I won't bother setting any static size limit - I'm sure you all know what's reasonable and what's not.

ONE LAST THING!

We're gonna need a Moderator for this place. Those of you who are interested should keep in mind that part of Moderating this forum will be reading new posts to ensure that they don't violate any of the three rules above, so it may require some time.

If you'd like to help Moderate, send me a PM or an e-mail, and I'll get you set up.
I'll assign up to THREE Mods for this forum, based on the level of traffic it receives.

What if that's a part of the story? I mean, what if you have a character who feels in such a way (not necessarily a primary character)? I would figure that as long as you make it clear he shouldn't feel that way it would be fine.

I believe that censorship is inherantly bad, partly for this reason. I think the policy needs to be reworded to say that material intended to incite racial violence/hatred/whatever is banned.
