Interesting story...
In its established continuity, it works.
(Hey, nobody said that our various stories were all set in the SAME Trek universe. http://www.3dgladiators.net/forums/ubb/ubbhtml/biggrin.gif)

BTW, Warrior, you'll be happy to know I bestowed the illustrious title "Old Man" to someone else. http://www.3dgladiators.net/forums/ubb/ubbhtml/smile.gif

Brill story. A spelling mistake (not a real biggie) about in your first time you recall Risa, you spelt it Rysa (nothing big as I said).
The story, no offence, has a lack of gripping the reader. Though he has the good groundings to start to get into a good story, I do hope you carry this on, it would be good to see what the Captain does in the rest of the story.
Other than that, good description with the sunlight, I always like description in a story, it's something all stories need to make a point to the reader and to picture something in their heads.
Good work WarriorDL!!!! http://www.3dgladiators.net/forums/ubb/ubbhtml/biggrin.gif

...umm No spelling mistake on that.
In TOS there is a Rysa. Diff planet than the Risa in TNG.
