Majestic Lets It Rip

I wanted to do something a little more involved this time, so I decided to do something with the Majestic lettin it rip. Its only my second or third time really trying weapons, so be gentle, but lemme know what u think.

Nice!

My only suggestion is to make that pattern in the phaser beams a bit "softer." It's very sharp right now, which makes it look more like a solid object than an energy beam.

The torpedoes are excellent, though.

A bit softer, brighter, and the color should shine on the hull.

The color is shining onto the hull, but yeah I think the phaser needed more intensity to look a littl better. Ill keep that in mind next time.

The ship looks amazing, but the weapons fire could use some modifications.

The phasers tend to look like hot iron rods coming out of the ship. And the photon topedoes kinda look like pellets to me at least.

BTW, ever consider making the Bozeman?

A great picture, a great model, but not a great design.

Cool pix ..

Have you entered different phase values to each torpedo ??

And give a bit more seed to the phaser id glow ... but i like this pix too :)

Yes, each torpedo has a different seed value to make them look different from each other, the phaser just uses a noise texture with a highlight glow, I shouldve increased the intensity of the glow some, chalk it up to learning for next time.
