may-be I give these ago...

That would be way cool. You always do outstanding work!

I'm currently animating a Trek themed short film (about 30 minutes) and it takes place between the TOS movies and the TNG era. My starship is the Phase 2 with 1701-A nacells.

Since I don't have a TOSmovie era bridge I've been modifying the Olympus bridge to give it the look of a TOSmovie ship with computer upgrades but it doesn't 'feel right' - if you know what I mean. LOL!

I'm sure I'm not the only one who would jump all over any TOSmovie era int sets you build!

And I agree with Warrior regaring the landing bay. It's a good set and one I've already used in my Trek animation. :)

thanks again .. I would be interested myself in what I can do for the TMP Bridge . but it will take a bit before I am ready ..

Love to see that animation

For my fellow DAZaholics you can get 'character morphs' for M3 that create faces for the TOS crew over at Renderosity. I've used them before and they're pretty cool. They also have Uhura but I'm not sure if it's for V3 or V2. You can also (just as you can here) find uniforms and other bits-n-pieces of Trek goodies & props.

For those of you not registered at Renderosity here are the Trek crew faces over at ShareCg.com

Sorry about posting a link you have to be signed into view.
I hit that site daily and I forget that it's a login thing.
Check out the new link though.
For people using DAZ or Poser products this is a real cool thing to have.

Too bad you've gotta be a member and log in to look at it.

I updated my post with new info -

But I thought that since we're on a new page I'd put it here too.
Just in case somebody wants it and would have missed the last page.

Hey, that's pretty cool, dude. I've got an earlier version of Daz (came on a CD I got with a magazine) and it looks pretty cool, so I've considered downloading and trying the latest version. That face thing is a nudge in that direction for sure. :D

wjaspers - Thank you very, very much!
I'm currently working on a Star Trek themed animated short film and I was seriously in need of a TMP era bridge.

Again, thanks a lot!
:D

Now that I've played around a bit with the TMP2 bridge, I have to say thanks again and d*mn nice job on the mesh. Fantastic work. :)

...ummm Damn, Will! Stuff looks good.

Want me to do the usual conversions when I get time?

That would be awesome. I've been excited about a bunch of those meshes since Eric first put that page up at 3DSciFi, but I can't use .max files.

If Will says so, then I'll do 'em :)

Be my guest Warrior, I would be delighted if people using other programs could use them.

Purely by coincidence I happened to download those meshes from 3DSciFi the other day. I'm glad I found a place to say thanks very much for sharing your work, and they are great! :)

I know there is a MAX version around. I have it - but really the LWO version is much nicer.
If you can't find the MAX version PM me and I'll help you out with it.

TOS bridge in MAX?

http://www.trekmeshes.ch/

It is in 3ds format, need to import it in max, and place lights and okudograms.

This model was made by Sean Robertson aka Seanr, I know he is a max user, so it could be he has a full max version, you will need to ask him, think he is a member here.

Re: Star Trek Models and Resources

I know I've used this in MAX before but it may have been the 3ds version.
One thing I know is that the MAX version was a bit of a pain in the wazoo to texture the computer screens.

I would try using the Poser version that Ptrope converted.
You can import the OJB file into MAX and then texture it.

Re: Star Trek Models and Resources

Anyone know of any sites which have Federation computer console textures? Specifically TNG/VOY era style
