Why not these designs?
 

I have always liked some of the Star Trek Chronology ships. I was wondering if you guys would be interested in doing design work based on this book?

That's been mentioned. I think they'd look great. I know that the Other Thomas was thinking about modeling some of them at some point. I have a copy and so does he. You can see some pics of the ships at Steve Pugh's site. http://steve.pugh.net/fleet/default.html
