USS Reverance

What can I say? I have a habit of working on more than one thing at a time because I get bored of things quite easily.

This is the USS Reverance, 'base ship' for the Aeroshuttle I've been working on in my other thread.

Designed to be a medium to long range explorer/Interceptor type ship.

There are plans for these two projects by the way, which will hopefully be unveiled over the course of the next 2 months, and I will be posting in the Fan Fic forum about it, but not until there is something more substantial to post :)

So, on with the mesh.

Barely started it, so it looks a little rough around the edges as it were, no smoothing applied, and the nacelles are just placeholders until I can come up with something a little more interesting, would love anybody who has ideas to shout up :)

I've always had something of a 'blind spot' when it comes to deflectors, so I thought I'd try something a little different, and I think it works. With a little more detailing, I think it'll kick some serious bootay.

The Aeroshuttle will be situated on the main engineering hull, behind the nav deflector, unless I get a better idea :)

The ship is supposed to be quite small, around the same size as Voyager, maybe a little smaller (shorter definately)...when I get a little more done I'll post a few comparison pics.

The next trick is to model the shield grid, which is going to be 'interesting' as I've never managed to successfully model one, if anyone has any ideas/tips/tricks etc. I'd love to hear them, cause with that I think I will need a great deal of help.

As always, comments/Criticisms always welcome :)

More than one project at once? This can be done?

Seriously, it looks really cool so far.

I think it's possible.........although, I don't think of these as seperate projects as they're all leading to something quite big, so simply phases of a larger project :)

Besides, the two are supposed to 'marry' so it seemed like a good idea at the time to work on them both together. :)

Thanks for the kinds words also :)
