Korolev Cruiser
Hey all - um, that being?
Here is another cruiser from Masao (sorry so late :( ). It's a big pic so please click here to see it (~181KB). Here is a tease ;) http://www.concept40.com/galleries/s.../Korolev1b.jpg |
Just you and me, Thomas!
This is a Moskva-era light cruiser (circa 2183). It's sort of mid way between Moskva and Lancaster with a cutdown Moskva hull but with a rear shuttle bay, central reactor core, and 3-D secondary hull from Lancaster. The name was originally Rome, but since that was too close to Paris, I changed it to Korolev. However, since that name has been applied to a class of ship at Wolf 359, it's finally been changed to Gagarin (which was the original fandom name for the Oberth class). |
Interesting, but I am having trouble with the deflector assembly. It looks like a button.
|
It's a Daedalus-style covered deflector. Sort of like a nose cone on a fighter plane.
|
Oh, I see. I guess one wouldn't have to worry about modeling the deflector then. I like it! :)
