Star Wars Rumour: Millennium Falcon already built?

Star Wars Rumour: Millennium Falcon already built?

Quote:

The Millennium Falcon may have already ventured back to the galaxy far, far away as 'Star Wars' insiders reveal that the famous spacecraft has already been built.

It's the ship that managed the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs… and it looks as though the Millennium Falcon could be back for 'Star Wars: Episode VII'. But while we've heard rumours of its return for some time, it seems that the iconic spacecraft may have already been built, and could be at Pinewood Studios as we speak.

According to a source close to production, the iconic Millennium Falcon has already been built for 'Star Wars: Episode VII'… and it could be bigger than ever.

"A full-scale 1:1 Millennium Falcon has been built as well as the interiors of the ship for filming," they explained. "The Falcon is done - inside and out. The sets were built off-site, ready to move when Lucasfilm/Bad Robot were ready to move into Pinewood."

I have always liked the idea of Han Solo and Chewbacca stories from their early adventures before meeting Luke etc.

perhaps from the meeting of of both to acquiring the Falcon :).. from Lando.

I thought for a while that somewhere down the line we're going to see a Star Wars theme park as part of the Disney takeover, so full sized props and sets will make their way from the films and end up in Florida or Paris or wherever else Disney land theme parks spring up.

That's a good point. That could be what the Falcon is for.
