Congratulations to WARRIOR and SEAN KENNEDY!

Sean and Darrell are the winners of our JUNE Contests.

Darrell took the Artist of the Month title with this image:

While Sean won the Mesh of the Month contest with his excellent model of the Valley Forge from the film "Silent Running."

(We are in the process of making the mesh available for download.)

Indeed, I voted for ya :)

Darrell Lawrence July 18th, 2005 08:19 PM

Thanks to all who voted :)

It was my pleasure to use such a fine model like the one Sean built. Since that makes him indirectly involved in both wins, I'll let him do the speech :D

Ready for July?

Sean Kennedy August 1st, 2005 05:11 PM

WHOO HOO! end of speech.... :D

I'll be getting the mesh ready tonight.

I'll be re-installing Zip and RAR this evening. I've been experiencing compression issues ....Also my version of MAX appears to be corrupted so I'll be re-installing that as well..... GRRRR! :(

Sean Kennedy August 1st, 2005 10:07 PM

The Valley Forge is ready to be posted....I was able to compress it down to 82MB. How do I go about getting it uploaded now?

Darrell Lawrence August 2nd, 2005 02:50 AM

Sean, when I get home later today, I'll create a sub-domain so you can upload directly to 3DG. Then I can move the files to the DL area.
