Retribution so far has taken place in an "alternate" timeline (the same as the Prime one but with some subtle differences). At the end of the movie the Prime timeline will be restored. At that point, we'll get another glimpse in Prentice's quarters, at which point this gold Abrams NCC-1701 will change to the TOS-style NCC-1701.
