Atolms Starship Concept gallery
http://jason9704.fotopic.net/
You can find Gorn, ISC, Hydran, Bolian, Vulcan, Romulan, Feds, Klingon (from pre-tos to 32nd century), reman and dominion ship concepts at present. Some are rough but most are quite heavily detaild. Have at it guys.

Some really nice designs there, if I was a Start Trek modeler I'd be tempted to say the least

Wow!
Damn!...That Atolm/Azel stuff is cool!
Alot of It has that organic/fossil look to it that you'd expect from the perfect blend of Star Trek, palentology and one hell'uva lot of talent.
I vote Atolm for head art director at Paramount!

Interesting stuff man. Most of my die-hard Trek friends don't like you stuff, they call it Anime. But I really really like it alot. It just speaks to me on some level, guess that makes it art

Sorry to say this but some of the most Die Hard Trek fans have forgotten about Sci-Fi
(not yours specifically but you know what I mean...SW vs ST, or continuety errors)
I have to make 2 quotes... both said by Kirk
"What V'ger needs to evolve is a human factor...our ability to leap beyond logic"
and my personal favorite
"Come now, Mr. Scott...Young minds fresh ideas Be tollerant"
I know that alot of my Designs are far fetched...But I stated from the start that they would be...I love to push the envelope...to see how far I could get with a particular race's design before it no longer looks like their design.
Look at it like this ever seen WW2 German concept aircraft??? Now those was very revolutionary and highly radical designs/concepts, but they did work and furthered our knowledge of aircraft design and flight.
The same could be said of the F/A-117 Nighthawk...As nothing in the history of flight looked remotely like that jet and still it was proven to work...
That's the way I approach design...not by taking the "next logical step", but by rather taking an idea or theory and running with it...
As for my designs looking like anime...well that may be possible as a few I did design to be very Anime-ish, but sometimes the result is very misleading as I draw and color in inks...I donot use ang fancy progam to do schematics aor drawings...I just draw and scan
Thanks for your support as I am deeply honored

Thanks! I've been around and about...spend a lot of time over at TrekBBS these days, and some lurking at Flare. For awhile this place kind'a went dormant, but I heard about this thread elsewhere and decided it was time to put in another appearance...
I like the new look, btw!
Now if someone could just figure out why all the pics are "down for maintenance"...

Looks like the idiots hosting atolms pics corrupted their disk and were too damned stupid to keep backups.

NEVER reply on free providers - they screw you every single time (I'm starting to think they do it on purpose).
BTW, I'm still trying to figure out why atolm never posts his own work... *confused*

I kept ~some~ of Christopher D. Reyes' work (but unfortunately not ~all~ of it) on my site, including one he didn't feature on his site...the Tyrannus-Class (Intrepid/Defiant hybrid) in the photos area ("Best Of Atolm" folder):

You have to join the group to view any of its files. Get that site the heck off of yahoo and get a real host.
Yahoo Groups ought to be shot down due to excessive shazbottiness.
