Cool. It looks suitably futuristic and plausible for the purpose.

Looks cool, bro. Which relay station is this? TOS? TNG? DS9?

I thought it was, even though you used the TOS writing on the pic. I didn't remember seeing one of these on TOS, but I thought maybe I just forgot. I do remember one on TNG, though.

As far as I'm concerned that font is Star Trek.

Yeah, that's cool. It's my favorite too, it just threw me for a loop on the era of your build. Of course, the movie font seems to be the popular one, since it was used in movies 1-6 and DS9 and Voyager, but I still like that original font better.

UPDATE...
Some work done on the top section. Unfortunately my monitor is having fits and the red keeps dropping out making it hard to do any work.

Hmmmm, sounds like it might be about time for a new monitor. Great work as always, X. I love the details. I noticed some segmentation around your bevels (chamfering, for you Max heads ) on the top of your main cylinder, are you planning on smoothing that or will you just not be showing that up close in your images?

Damn, that sucks. I know. Didn't have anything backed up? Did you lose all your other cool meshes?

I have an old back up from a lmost two years ago. So it's not all lost. Just more of the recent Trek work like the Larson and Nelson. Alot of meshs that I downloaded are gone but I'm not sure which ones yet.

Too bad. I'm sure there is software which will allow you to retrieve the files. A drive in a computer here died and everything was recovered.

That sucks, bro. You do such awesome work. There are ways to retrieve data from busted drives, you might want to look into it, if you haven't already.
