Well I started modelling windows this evening, however I ****ed up somehow.
I made them as follows
Select the saucer, boolean (refine) selected the window shape.
the edit mesh, negative extrude, detach.
Then I painted it white with 100% illumination.
Repeat this about 100-200 times.
After a while everything started to run sluggisch, after checking my ram usage was up waaay too high. Almost at it's maximum.
So now I'm looking for a different technique to make those windows. I don't want them textured though...

It looks fantastic. Now, can I ask a request, you can say no cause you are the modeller, but when you texture it, could you put a little danger mouse image somewhere  hehe Sorry, when I saw the title, that's the first thought that came into my head, even though it says dangerman |

Wow, someone's been busy...
Looks really great so far. Just need a few details here and there, such as throwing some texturing on the secondary hull and adding some windows.
