Looks close to finished to me. Odd camera view on the second picture - looks elongated. Lots of detail.

The neck looks interesting.

Want to see the top of the ball too, where the "dome area" is.

That is a spectacular model. I would say it's probably the best I have seen from you. The texturing is superb! Did you model the interiors as well?

the interiors is just a box with textures slapped on it.
I am considering modelling a small mess hall with low poly tables / chairs.
Guess I should model a shuttle bay also

heh

Making those interiors is a pain in the butt though...

It may be a pain in the rear but it really addes a lot to the model. I might try the same thing on the ship I am currently working on.

Superb work. Seems to me, though, that the 'neck' would not have view ports. Based on the balance of the ship, with respect to scale, the connection tube / neck would need to be more structurally sound then would be as just a 'walk way'.

I could see it having the view ports.

After all, the Constitution Class ship's neck isn't all that "structually" sound either

Thomas, I agree with your comment from a structural point of view. However, the windows look good. I mean take a look at the pylons for most of the Trek ships. I've always had a problem with how thin they are.
Do any of the reference pics show windows?

Are the bussards going to be colored?

That's a very nice mesh! Very skilled handling on the subtle details.
