Default USS MARYLAND

After converting my Mesh from MAX into LIGHTWAVE, this is a new Wallpaper with the USS MARYLAND / NX-76825
Hope you like it.

Full-Size:

Legend (STAR TREK - ICICLE):

The MARYLAND-CLASS was created and developed during the Dominion-War. But the Starfleet couldn´t finish the first Ship of the MARYLAND-CLASS, before the War was over.

So, the first Ship of this Class, build in the Utopia-Planitia-Fleetyards, was commissioned Fall 2376, under the Command of Captain Frank Revers, who has carried out a Handful of risky Landing-Operations with an INTREPID-CLASS-Ship during the Dominion-War.

After an alliance between the Tzenkethi, Tholians, Talarians, Sheliak and the Gorn have declared war against the Federation, Klingons and the Romulans - in 2380 - the first spectacular successful Special-Operation Mission behind the Lines was carried out by Captain Frank Revers, his Crew and a MACO-Troop in Spring 2381, by using this Ship.

Technical Data:

Planned for fast Special-Force Operations (e.g.: landing on planetary surfaces behind the lines and disembark ground-troops where transporters didn´t work) this Shipclass has a length of 224,7m, a width of 144,8m and a height of 32,2m.

The lower-deck contains a Hangar in the center of the ship, with ground-vehicles which can leave the ship over a ramp. Another Hangar at the tail contains a few shuttles for CAS.

Standard-Crew: 75 + maximal 100 MACO´s for Special Operations.
Weapons: 2 Phaserstripes, 2 Pulsphaser-Canons, 2 Torpedo-Launchers.

Looking good.

I'm too lazy to convert any of my old meshes to Lightwave.

I only have five complete own Meshes, and only four of them are not build with LW.

I´ve made a new version of this ship-class at the beginning of this year. I think it looks a little bit better now.

Yes - some of my first meshes shall become a chance to look like it should look like. My skills are now better as 12 years ago, so I´m now in the condition to create this ships much more detailed and (I hope) a little bit cooler.

I´ve started also a new version of my first mesh, that I´ve posted here 12 years ago. I hope to finish it this year.
