Daedalus-class
I haven't done a WIP over here in a while, so I might as well show my latest project. It's a Daedalus-class from Star Trek with a few custom design changes. I started on this the day before yesterday.
Latest progress shots:
Some older shots.

Another render I just made. I didn't have this part on for the other renders because of the large shadow it casts on the other part.

Nice detail. Any thoughts on the function of the "telescoping arms", and why the middle one is reversed?

I really think this would benefit some additional detailing.
The deflector assembly looks great. Looks very - very promising.

Thanks, guys. The large circular thing with all the crap inside in front isn't the navigational deflector, it wouldn't work because the section in front would block the force field thing it sends out that knocks meteors and crap out of the way. I figure that's the main sensor array. That was what Matt Jeffries had what would become the navigational deflector marked as on his Enterprise design, a sensor. (Just random facts thrown to make me sound like I know what I'm doing. )
Update: Added some stuff to the back.

The details of the sensor are great because they aren't familiar and look like future tech. The items I pointed out above look a little too familiar like hydraulic actuators on cranes or back-hoes.

Probably the best one I've seen, better than the one in the Star Trek Fact Files.
