Here's some stuff I was working on last year that I was unable to post due to my crappy ISP...

Ewww... nice! I forget, what is the class of the Velikan? I vaguely recall you working on this along time ago. Lots of detail.

What's with the black-out areas on the Swordfish?

I noticed that after I rendered it. Very strange. Not sure what's causing it.
The Velikan is a DY1200. It needs more detail. Some stripes or decals on the sides or something.

I told Reverend (Kris Trigwell) when he showed me that design that I thought that it was a bit plain. He was using surface detail (those strengthening bands) instead of hull shape. It needs something...

Do you or Reverend have any ideas in that area? If so, post them so I can add them.

You can see all Reverends ship at Bernd's JOAT subsite. What Reverend was trying to do was to link the early DY style ships with my Bison class hulls. But for some reason he decided to make it look like the secondary hull of Daedalus, which is probably the most boring thing he could have done. I would probably break up the cylinder with spheres or ovoids of some sort, either along the center or off center. Or maybe the trouble is that the reactor sphere is too big and round.

Some good thoughts. Perhaps I will play around with it and see what I can do. However, my creative skills are not that great, so I can promise anything...
