A little ship
It's a Wing Commander ship.
Proper ref material from the game is scarce, BUT what I have been able to find doesn't really show consistency, so this model will have a few liberties to it.

I have 5.6, 7.5 and 9 all installed.
Haven't messed with 9 yet, 7 I use for rendering, 5.6 I just love the Modeler side of things best. If I need to go over the point limit, then I'll model it in two (or more) pieces and put them together in 7's modeler.
As to how I find it after all this time... as they say... the memory is the first to go LOL

cool .. I still am unable to load lightwave8.3 at the moment .. sentinel problem I still have yet too as for help with newtech .. but I am not in a hurry..
so far 9 has been good to me and very stable unless i mess up some how.. its been a long road from my Truespace days
Memory ah yes this is why I am doing the tutorial so I can remember how to do it if I need in the future lol .

Oh yeah... I have 8 on here too, but never used it either.
What OS are you using? I have Win7.

i tried a lighwave demo. couldn't figure it out, uninstalled it. So far been fine with whatever version of max i have installed on my computer (not that i use that very often!  )
And photoshop, of course. I've been neglecting her, poor thing

I have found that max users do indeed have a hard time adapting to Lightwave, and vice-versa: Lightwave users have a hard time with max.

yes that's true. I could not work out Max at all .. gave up after a short time.
