HAPPY Dalek

Had to take a break from my TOS ships and since I just picked up a copy of Genesis of the Daleks on DVD I thought I'd make one myself. The Tardis and a Dalek were the first two things I built when I started out. I used Truespace SE then.

Didn't even know of such a thing. I was just winging it by memory.

Very good start.

I take it you are going for a classic 70's version not a hybrid.

Btw, http://www.themindrobber.co.uk is a good site for anyone thinking of making Daleks.

I just plan on doing my own thing. I do like the classic version better but I will make a few changes.

UPDATE...
Head and neck are finished.

Doing your own thing is always a good thing. I don't know one version from the other but that looks good.

Got some of the shoulder done and the gun. I'll work on the plunger next.

I found the hardest part to do was getting all the domes positioned properly on the skirt, so I am looking with interest to see how you do on this fozz ;-)

Right now the hardest part is the shoulders. It's not the easiest of shapes. It might be awhile before I update again until I can get that to a point that I'm happy with.
