Superman Gets a New Look

Here you guys go. I'm sure Darrell is going to love this one.

Yes, they're doing it again. In the September Action Comics reboot of Superman, the MoS is getting a new costume. It's not quite as drastic as that red/blue crap in the '90s, though. Basically, he still has the blue suit (with added lines, I don't know what those are all about.) He also has his classic emblem and red cape, though the briefs are gone and the belt has changed from yellow to red. Also, his belt and boots have been redesigned. So, here it is:

I'm not sure yet if I like it or not. I still love the classic costume.

I think we need to see more pictures of it. I haven't figured out what the extra lines are. It almost looks like he's wearing armor but Superman has no reason to wear armor.

Good points Chris ....

I don´t mind much the Speedo-like red trunks. but I think the belt should stay yellow ..
not sure why I like that color more on the belt.

As long as they don't do crazy idea's like Peter Jon's had for Superman's suit for the Superman Lives movie I'm ok.

No cape? Black suit? Crazy talk.

Looks good as is.

New suit is ok. Not drastic enough to hate. Like the old suit best of course. Agreed on the belt.

Its bad, very, very bad. I mean the outfi8t got elbow pads. He's Superman he'd have to elbow drop a planet just to get a slight bruise and the planet would have a new Superman elbow shaped mountain sticking out the other side.

they need to go back to the classic. Being creatively inventive works, trying to be clever for the sake of it never works.
