Default APRIL Artist of the Month Vote (2-D Artwork)

My apologies for having been absent from last month's festivities - RealLife intruded rather rudely. But this month, the Big Bird is back with a great crop of pics for your consideration...

Question: Are we voting Artists--like the thread usually says--or art pieces?

If its Artists, why not remove redundancy from the poll, but keep the individual art works in the entries post?

We're actually voting for the piece - if we vote strictly for the Artist, we'd have to limit it to one image per artist for the sake of fairness, then we end up with only five or six entries per month. This way, at least we get a larger selection of images to vote on. In actuality, this makes it more an "Image of the Month" contest, but "Artist of the Month" just sounds better - and the T-shirts and Mugs are already printed with that text.

Given that it's up to the artist which of their images is actually used in the voting, it's pretty fair- first of all, artists with multiple images will have troubles because they can get the majority of votes and still not win the contest in the end(Say they have two pieces, each gets five votes, and another artist with one piece gets six)... it really is artist of the month, though. They don't draw themselves, y'know.
