You do realize you're on the same path as him, right?
He started with tS. Both you and Ger started with tS.
He switched to "Inspire" (LW Jr) then 5.6 and on up the ladder. You and Ger switched to LW as well.
And all three of you make kick-ass meshes!

I didn't really switch. I was following Ger's tutorial for building the Enterprise but I never finished and haven't even opened LW in months. I'm presently looking for more Linux-friendly 3D software (besides Blender and Wings.) Plus, the price per upgrade is prohibitive for me with LW. I don't mind paying for software, but $1500 is excessive, IMHO. I think those are probably the main reasons why my attempts to learn LW stalled.
