That would be awesome. I've been excited about a bunch of those meshes since Eric first put that page up at 3DSciFi, but I can't use .max files.

Be my guest Warrior, I would be delighted if people using other programs could use them.

Purely by coincidence I happened to download those meshes from 3DSciFi the other day. I'm glad I found a place to say thanks very much for sharing your work, and they are great!

I know there is a MAX version around. I have it - but really the LWO version is much nicer.
If you can't find the MAX version PM me and I'll help you out with it.

TOS bridge in MAX?

http://www.trekmeshes.ch/

It is in 3ds format, need to import it in max, and place lights and okudograms.

This model was made by Sean Robertson aka Seanr, I know he is a max user, so it could be he has a full max version, you will need to ask him, think he is a member here.

I know I've used this in MAX before but it may have been the 3ds version.
One thing I know is that the MAX version was a bit of a pain in the wazoo to texture the computer screens.

I would try using the Poser version that Ptrope converted.
You can import the OJB file into MAX and then texture it.

Just to clarify, I think he meant "rarely used." And I hung out there for a few minutes once but nobody was there so I left. Besides, I'm not a huge fan of online chatting.

I came across this site while doing some research on Klingon BOP designs.
If it's already been shared then, well there's that - but if not...
It looks like quite a good bit of data for you guys.

Transporter room etc.. but not the bridge .. it been done to such a great standard by Ptrope and Sean Robertson . but I want to build the other sets ... a little project I like to get back to and to do ,,

Thanks Fretslayer. I had hard drive issues recently and either Firefox 3 or Vista won't let you copy a new bookmarks file over your existing one (I'm sure there's a backup somewhere that I'm missing or I'm in the wrong directory.) So, I'm having to re-find my previously bookmarked pages and bookmark them again. And that was definitely on the list of my 3D resources and I hadn't made it to finding it again, so you made my life a little easier.

You're very welcome.
I'm glad I could help.
I used to have an awesome set of bookmarks but when I upgraded to SP3 it killed them (because they were all in Firefox) and I've been trying to find some of them again. So I know the feeling. Sadly. LOL!
