ANDROMEDA-CLASS by ulimann644
I´ve re-textured my old ANDROMEDA-CLASS ship and made a Primary-Universe version for my Fan-Fiction STAR TREK - AFTERMATH. It´s a 11.5 mesh, because I´ve made the MU-Version with this LW-version.
The next step is to load it in LW 2019 and optimize the materials. I think, I´ll make also more detailed bussards for the 2019-version of this ship.
When I´m ready with the ship for the Primary-Universe I´ll re-texture and convert also the MU-version for LW 2019.
- Background: QAuZ
- Mesh and Scene: Ulrich Kuehn (just me)

Re: ANDROMEDA-CLASS by ulimann644
Nice design, there is something appealing about a smaller ship, little more hazardous perhaps

I like ships with a length between 180 Meters and 240 Meters for the ENT Era.
BTW: I´ve worked a little more on the materials and added a procedural-texture to the illuminated windows.

That looks great, I especially like the bussards.
180m to 200m is a great size for the Ent era. It's big enough to be believable as an explorer vessel, but not so big that it's almost TOS size, like the NX class was.

Yes, that´s also my thought.
The version for the Primary-Universe was planned (in my FF STAR TREK - AFTERMATH) in 2162, shortly after the War with the Romulans, primary as a Medium-Cruiser, by a Vice Admiral (John Jefferson Pickett). The Explorer-Version has 6 phaser-cannons and 2 torpedo tubes. Admiral Pickett wanted also a version with more weapons for a real Medium-Cruiser-Version, but Starfleet-Command declined.
Between 2164 and 2170 Starfleet commissioned 8 of this ships as Medium-Range-Explorer-Vessels. Non was lost, since Starfleet decommissioned all this ships until 2210.

Re: ANDROMEDA-CLASS by ulimann644
Many thanx.
I´ll try to make a sheet in high-format (turning the top-view 90 degrees and moving it to the right side, with front- and rear-view below). Maybe I have enough space than to add the technical details between this three views and (some more) detail-pic.
