Re: Windows 7 News ?
Some reviews have claimed that going from XP to 7 is a bit of a chore.

Re: Windows 7 News ?
Upgrading has always been some thing of a problem, with settings not migrating correctly. I was thought that a fresh install is always the best: you'll get rid of stuff that made your life unpleasant (like faulty virusscanners and almost undetectable malware) in the process, leaving you with a very fast computer to enjoy ^_^

Re: Windows 7 News ?
Vista was complete crud. I upgraded to 7 on my Alienware Laptop and have had no problems. The system even seems to respond faster and smoother.

Re: Windows 7 News ?
I do like that programs can be ran in an older Windows mode, if needed.

Re: Windows 7 News ?
I usually dump windoze and do a fresh install about every six months to clean out all the crap. My machine stays cleaner and runs better that way. It doesnt seem to matter what kind of "cleaning" software I run, nothing runs like a fresh install.
