Default Galileo V2 Redesign

I have just uploaded the shuttle for download ... I have done far more than I thought need too that will teach me to go back to a model..

there is a lot I said I would do, but I did not, ie making a new names and numbers to represent other motherships etc.

but as its a Texture you can do that yourselves.

I made a note of the fonts I used and I will post them here too

The Number Font is "Final Frontier shipside"
The Name Font is "Airborne".

You can of-course use any you like.

as I said there too (downloads) if you use the model please post the image here too.. I would like to see the art here.

I hope you like the changes I made ,,,, also the internal layout has been altered.

If my backlog wasn´t that huge, I could volunteer myself, but I already have A LOT to do, included there a lot made by you. Oh, and I have the Searcher waiting for me too, as to many other wips.

But I need to say thank you to make this beauty available (except cause the "rose" seats )

Thanks mate. High praise
I am going back to some Buck Rogers soon myself and touch up on a few thing on the star-fighters.

The Searcher is a great ship to see come alive may still try it some time over the next few months if ever I can finish the Enterprise Tutorial .

the rose seats ..

Hey Taranis, here are the grabs off the OBJ version I tried to texture in DAZ Studio. As you can see, with things like the outer hull top and main hatch, I can't even get the textures to appear. I could be mislinking something, but I tried several times to be sure.

Obvious there are a number of elements that will just carry shaders. I haven't even tried to address those yet in this capture.

oh right,

I am trying for another conversion for this exporting to OBJ and I am triangulating most of the surfaces to ensure that
all the points have a wire connecting.

I not sure if its the right way to go or not as I never export my own models.

here is the next try.
if this works better I try for a cleaner version later but that would take more time.

I also have the aft landing gear down. the reason for the whole thing in the first place...

man do I get carried away

Yes I think this is better now.. I have fixed the errors (as far as I can see) for obj version.

I have it so that the landing gear is down. and the inner hatches are open. the aft hatch is closed . I don´t know how your program manages
these things Arcas.

I post it soon and I hope this will be the right one. I also send it to you via PM.

if anyone else wants it PM me.

but I stress this... This is the best I can do with it and I will not be doing any more work on it.

But I have learned a few new things that I hope I will carry over into my other models .
