Some time they get one acceptable result

Looks very good.

But I have one nitpick: The grid on the glowing (blue) part of the nacells is to big.

Appart from that minor thing its perfect.

It's not a nitpick ... It is a constructiv pointing on a UVW setting error i do ... Dennis, done a good texture set ... I just fitted the map on the complete part not on a sub part ... fixed now

The conversion will be released when i found 6 mb storage space for it any where

Excellent conversion, looking at the pictures you can get real close in to hull of the ship for good renders, I like It very much...cheers

Red_ufo : Thank's, just learning every day a bit more about texturing ...
Converting part's is easy ...
The hard job ist to set the textures to get a good result

But you know that ... You self do great work by conversions

Well Dennis Bailey always does a top job with all of his meshes, You are right when you say the easy part is converting the mesh, I simply take my time and do a bit at a time, you get bits right and wrong but you come back a bit wiser and the more experience the better the conversion...cheers

I said i have to do it.
Until newer MAx comes, i can't use it for now.
Will be soon.
Then i only have to do the asteroid tut to do cool rockies, render in layers with the Phoenix, paint TOS phasers on PS and that's it.
