QUESTION IE 8 errors

Does anyone here use IE8 and get this: "JSON is undefined"?

no I tried with IE8 and using the Quote option get a Java script error.

thats all I get in IE8

FIREFOX is ok for me so far

don´t know if that is any help

I never use IE now

This seems to be an IE8 specific problem. I don't use it myself EXCEPT when I need to log in with a generic handle yet also keep this handle logged in.

I have checked the Gallery and the downloads with IE8 and checking and generaly just browsing with it..

this post included.. error only appears with the quote option engaged . editing ok

Try ticking the compatability mode button on the top bar, it seems to fix some of those pesky errors.

the IE8 top bar .. there is compatability view. is that the same thing ..

or is there another command with mode in it,,

its over a year since I used it and am completely lost now possibly a thick question

No that's the ticket, I forgot they changed it to view I've been back to using a Mac for over 2 years now so i forgot ...

NO problem ...... I cannot stand IE now ..

I tried that and it made no difference to the java problem. but other than the pop up the is a bit of a pain. I can still post with the quote
option??

hmm.. ok.. question: What Operating System, is it 64 or 32 bit, and why have you not upgraded to ie9?

OS 64 bit ..... I never upgraded because I did not know there was ..... :laugh::laugh:

that's the problem right there, Windows 7 x64 is flakey as hell

I had problems early on but its been very good now .. that was with the ram, at least the motherboard could not handle the Ram I wanted
got a BSOD every once and a while.

and the only problem with this at them moment is when I used IE8 and the quote option at the same time.

Firefox is very stable for me on this one.

What are you using again ??

That didn't solve it. Still get that error.

Oh well. Anyone using IE deserves the errors LOL
