Default Acurate Texture Map Creation for Max 3.

One of the biggest problems I have when modeling is get texture maps to fit acuately to a mesh, especially when the texture is a planar one. Is there any program that will great a template from the UV mapping co-ordinates of a mesh on which I can create my texture map?

What I do, is grab this neat little utility called Texporter:

It's available for all versions of MAX
http://www.cuneytozdas.com/software/max/texporter/

It lets you create / export a bitmap of your UV Mapping.
