Ship damage
Guys, I need some advice.
I am making another addon for Celestia, the system L-374, w/Doomsday Machine, and the USS Constellation.
I am not sure how to hadle the next step. I made my damage but can't figure out the best way to not let you see inside the saucer.
I would be thankful for any advice.
Thanks,
Tim

Re: Ship damage
If I wanted to do it.. I would possible have to model am inner wall or bulkhead and add a textured damage effect ,, but I never did much of that work ..

Re: Ship damage
Why not? you did damage the outer hull, so you CAN see inside the hull.
OR what is it exactly you mean with "not see inside the saucer" ?

Re: Ship damage
I think he means that it looks all nice and clean inside the saucer, when it shouldn't. I'd go with what Taranis suggested.

Re: Ship damage
Well here is what I came up with.
It's not the best, but I use Anim8or and wings3d for now.
I made 2 flat circles as floors.
Thanks,
Tim

Re: Ship damage
It certainly looks better than any of my attempts at creating damage textures.
